Meeting Plan for Musée d'Orsay
We recommend that you print this page and have it with you in Paris:
Meet your Paris Muse guide outside the Musée d'Orsay at ENTRANCE C, which faces the Rue de Lille. Your guide will be waiting for you in the spot indicated in the photograph—between the two revolving doors, under the glass awning. Please do not proceed into the museum without your guide.

ENTRANCE C is the "entrée reservée," the reserved entrance. There is a small staircase on Rue de Lille—across from the Royal Orsay café—which leads directly to ENTRANCE C meeting spot. This is the side of the museum building that faces away from the Seine. Please do not confuse this with the main ENTRANCE A on the other side of the museum, closest to the Seine.
Do not wait in line. Your guide will have purchased your tickets in advance, so you will be able to proceed directly into the museum with her. **Please be advised, there may be a small amount of waiting in order to go through the security check.
If you are traveling by Métro:
Walk from the SOLFERINO station on Rue Bellechasse, which runs north towards the river. At the intersection of Bellechasse and Rue de Lille (there is a café at that corner), take a right. Walk about 50 yards and cross the street. There is a staircase directly across from another café called the Royal Orsay (#75 Rue de Lille). This set of stairs will lead you directly to the Entrance C doors shown in the photograph.
If you have any problems or questions about meeting your guide, please contact us directly at:
